What We Believe

We don’t just believe these truths—we live them.

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of New Jerusalem International. Everything we teach and build is rooted in the truth of God’s Word and centered on the life-changing power of the Gospel.

Faith

We center everything on Christ, building our lives on the Word of God as the ultimate authority.

Hebrew 11:6

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

Health

We honor God by promoting wellness of body, mind, and spirit, encouraging balance, healing, and care for oneself and others.

1 Corinthians 6: 19-20

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own;  you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."

Integrity

We commit to living honestly and transparently, demonstrating Christlike character in every decision.

Proverbs 10:9

"Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out."

Family

We strengthen households, marriages, and community bonds because family is God’s original design for stability and growth.

Joshua 24:15

"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for
yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

Service

Salvation

We embody Christ by serving the church and community—feeding the hungry, caring for the sick, mentoring the young, and uplifting the broken.

Matthew 25:35-36

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Finance

We teach wise stewardship, debt freedom, and generosity so that believers can live abundantly and fund Kingdom work.

Proverbs 3:9-10

"Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine."
